Massachusetts-based L-com Global Connectivity, a manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, recently announced that it has developed a line of industrial NEMA-rated (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) enclosures. These enclosures feature fully gasketed lids and stainless steel quick-release latches with padlock hasps to lock the enclosure and secure the internal equipment.
L-com’s NB20-series enclosures are molded from halogen-free, self-extinguishing, fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) to withstand extreme temperatures and wet and corrosive environments. They protect electrical and electronic components and equipment from water, wind, dust and chemicals, critical for any industry, as well as preventing theft and damage.
The NB20-series features options such as 120V AC power and non-powered configurations, as well as heating and cooling options. Approvals for the NB20-series include UL and NEMA ratings, IEC and CSA (ratings may vary from model to model).
