IMOA’s new guide on sustainability

The International Molybdenum Association (IMOA) has published a new brochure entitled,
‘A Sustainable World with Molybdenum.’ It highlights the many examples of molybdenum’s contributions to sustainable development in a range of sectors.
The 28-page brochure contains chapters covering its impact in energy efficiency, low carbon power generation, environmental protection and resource conservation. The final chapter demonstrates molybdenum’s positive effect on quality of life in a range of applications from medical imaging to desalination plants.
Examples are illustrated with case studies in brief and in depth, including summaries of three Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies which quantify the positive environmental impacts of molybdenum use in automotive lightweighting, construction and fuel desulfurization.
The brochure can be downloaded from the IMOA website athttp://www.imoa.info/download_files/sustainability/Sustainability-brochure-2015.pdf.
