Kloeckner Metals has agreed upon an exclusive distributorship with Double Stone Steel for the marketing of physical vapor deposition (PVD) coated stainless steel and aluminum sheet products.
Under this agreement, Kloeckner will exclusively market related fabrication services, anti-fingerprint and antimicrobial coating options along with stainless mesh. These products add flexibility and creative options to the building, equipment and component design teams.
Double Stone’s process of PVD Titanium Ion Coating helps to improve the performance of stainless steel by enhancing corrosion, scratch and wear resistance and can be specified in a broad spectrum of colors42 “standards” or custom-matched to a design scheme. The process is more environmentally friendly than electroplating or painting, with zero discharge of gas, water waste and other residues. This coating is especially important to architectural, structural and food industries.
The deal between Kloeckner and Double Stone Steel includes exclusive distribution rights throughout the whole of North America and sales within the Brazilian market.
