Penn Stainless certified to ISO 9001:2008

Penn Stainless Products has been certified by National Quality Assurance, U.S.A. to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. ISO 9001 is a family of standards for quality management systems maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The standard is recognized world-wide, identifying those that employ best practices and continuous improvement.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard certifies that the company meets specific requirements for a quality management system, demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and enhances customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

“The successful implementation of the ISO 9001:2008 system is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees,” said president of Penn Stainless Products, Jim Seward. “The processes and training we developed in preparation for ISO make us a better partner to our customers. As our quality policy states, we will ‘keep customers happy, improve processes, and include and invest in our people.’ And we believe that we are in a better position today to meet the demands of high tech manufacturing anywhere in the world.”
