BASF names Fluor North America engineering partner

BASF has named Fluor Corporation as its North American chemicals capital project engineering partner. Fluor was awarded an umbrella services agreement by BASF for an undisclosed contract value.
 
The agreement will cover the providing of services such as conceptual and front-end engineering and design, detailed engineering, procurement, project management and construction management services. Fluor was selected as BASF’s engineering partner in Asia and Europe in 2011 and currently has multiple active projects under the partnering agreements.

 
The North America agreement will apply to all BASF facilities in the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico, with Fluor’s Houston, Texas office leading the effort for the North America partnership agreement.
