Spectra Energy Corp announced a number of senior management appointments:
Julie Dill, current president Union Gas, Spectra Energy’s Ontario-based local distribution company, will become president and chief executive officer, Spectra Energy Partners (SEP), the company’s master limited partnership. Dill will also take on the role of group vice president, Strategy, for Spectra Energy Corp. She will relocate to Houston.
Current VP and treasurer of Spectra Energy Corp, Steve Baker, will become president of Union Gas. In his new role, Baker will be responsible for setting the overall course and strategy for Union Gas’ continued growth in earnings and safe operations in the coming years. He will relocate to Chatham, Ontario.
Guy Buckley, current group vice president, Corporate Development and Strategy, Spectra Energy Corp, has been appointed vice president and treasurer, Spectra Energy Corp. In his new position, Buckley will be responsible for the company’s financing and capital market activities, interest rate management, liquidity and cash management, and the company’s relationships with major banks and credit rating agencies. He will also maintain his existing responsibilities for the company’s Merger & Acquisition activities.
Current VP and controller of Spectra Energy Corp, Sabra Harrinton, will become vice president, Risk Management and Financial Planning, Spectra Energy Corp. He will be in charge of enterprise-wide risk management and financial planning efforts. Allen Capps, current vice president, business development, Union Gas, will take on the position of vice president and controller, Spectra Energy Corp, serving as the company’s chief accounting officer. He will relocate to Houston.
Current president and chief executive officer of Spectra Energy Partners, Greg Rizzo, will maintain his other primary role as group vice president, Regulatory Affairs, where he leads the company’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and U.S. Customs functional areas. He will also take on the additional role of being the corporation’s key liaison with the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA).
