Outokumpu’s office in Brazil will host a workshop in Rio De Janeiro on 19 September 2011. Concentrating on duplex stainless steels for the oil and gas industry, the workshop will feature speakers from Petrobras, Bohler Welding and Outokumpu Europe. Some of the issues to be discussed include the construction and repair of subsea equipments, corrosion and maintenance issues, new grades and new opportunities.
