LyondellBasell has appointed Tim Roberts as the new Senior Vice President of Olefins and Polyolefins for the Americas region. He will be based in Houston. Roberts brings a broad knowledge of the global chemical industry to the table. His most recent position was as Vice President of Planning and Development for Chevron Phillips Chemical. Prior to this position, Roberts served as President and CEO of Americas Styrenics LLC, a joint venture between the Dow Chemical Company and Chevron Phillips Chemical. For over 20 years, Roberts has worked for Chevron Phillips, its predecessors and/or joint ventures. During that time he maintained numerous management positions with increasing responsibilities including Global Business Manager, Director of Capital Projects, and Country Manager in Qatar. A Ball State University graduate, Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
