Suzlon receives 218MW order

Suzlon Energia Eólica do Brasil Ltda., a subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Limited has received an order from Martifer Renováveis Geração de Energia e Participações S.A. to set up, operate and maintain a 218MW project. The project will be comprised of 104 units of Suzlon’s S88-2.1 MW wind turbines across the states of Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte, in Brazil. Scheduled for commission in phases by June 2010, the project is expected to offset more than 425tns of CO2 per year.
