Gamesa to supply turbines to Western Wind

Gamesa will supply wind turbines, with a total capacity of 10MW, for a wind farm being built by Western Wind Energy in Arizona. As per the contract, Gamesa will install five G90-2.0MW wind turbines on 78m towers in April 2011. The Power generated from the project will be sold to UniSource Electric and money from the Section 1603 Program will be used by Western Wind Energy to fund a portion of the expenses of the wind farm’s construction.
