Lincoln Electric has added two new lines of stainless welding consumables, the Excalibur® stainless stick electrode and the Lincolnweld® stainless submerged arc wire and flux. These brands will replace the LE’s current stainless products, Red Baron® and Blue Max®. Excalibur Stainless Stick Electrodes are versatile electrodes designed to weld many types of austenitic steels and dissimilar materials. Their low carbon levels help eliminate carbide precipitation. They also feature smooth arc characteristics, excellent slag removal and minimal spatter. The Lincolnweld Stainless Submerged Arc Flux produces sound welds with superior slag removal and bead appearance. The flux offers superior resistance to moisture pickup and is designed for maximum toughness and ductility with duplex stainless steels.
