Pressure Systems, a manufacturer of precision level and pressure instruments for environmental water usage and water resource applications, now offers the TruBlue 585 CTD transducer that monitors and logs conductivity to a 1% accuracy as well as temperature and pressure levels. The 3/4in diameter unit comes in welded 316 stainless steel or titanium and is available in full scale water level ranges from 5psi to 300psi. The operating temperature range for the TruBlue 585 CTD is 0C to 50C. This transducer’s internal 5-year 3.6V lithium battery has on-board surge protection making it suitable for remote environmental data collection and process, including environmental and watershed management applications, ground water, surface water, canal and harbor monitoring. The TruBlue 585 CTD features a fully-sealed design, multiple interfaces, and an internal memory of 8MB that is capable of storing up to 550,000 data conductivity, level and temperature measurements. It has a level accuracy of +/-0.1% FS total error band, which includes changes in temperature within the compensated temperature range of 0C to 50C, and a conductivity range of 5-200,000µS/cm with an accuracy of 20µS/cm. TruWare, Pressure Systems’ user-friendly software created specifically for the TruBlue line, comes standard with the new transducer. Available for both PC and mobile applications, users can graph, export and manage data using the new software.
