USA: Tiger pipeline project

Henkels & McCoy awarded AUT Specialists LLC Co. the NDE Service Contract for Spread 1 (51.5mi) and Spread 2 (26.4mi) of Energy Transfer’s 180mi Tiger Pipeline Project. Construction started in June 2010 and is expected to be in service in the first half of 2011. The pipeline will connect to ETP’s dual 42in pipeline system near Carthage, Texas, extend through the heart of the Haynesville Shale and end near Delhi, Louisiana, with interconnects to at least seven interstate pipelines at various points in Louisiana. The pipeline will have an initial capacity of 2.0 billion cu/ft per day, which may be increased to up to 2.4 billion cu/ft. Once in service it will serve the NE, SE, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest markets.
