Nucor has announced the upcoming retirement of Dave Sumoski, Chief Operating Officer. He has played an integral role in the company’s success over the past 30 years.
In addition, Nucor is pleased to share that Steve Laxton, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, has been promoted to the role of President and Chief Operating Officer effective January 1, 2026.
