Self-adjusting and conventional tank rolls are used to rotate circular parts such as tanks, pressure vessels, tower pipes, and fuel barrels. Units are available up to 300 tons, and machines up to 600 tons can be produced in special cases. The self-adjusting rolls are suitable for applications in which the diameter of the rotating workpieces is variable, such as ovals. The conventional rolls are designed for parts with diameters that are not variable.
