Doug Zoller took over the management of CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc. in the USA and Mexico at the end of June. He replaces Hartmut Bögel, who is retiring on June 30 after more than 40 years with the company.

CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc. was founded in 1985 as a subsidiary of the CLOOS Group. From its locations in Schaumburg, Illinois and San Apodaca in Nuevo Leon, CLOOS Robotic Welding offers customer-specific, turnkey welding solutions for the US and Mexican markets.
“CLOOS has a unique product portfolio and the demand for innovative solutions in the welding and automation sector is enormous,” says the new managing director Doug Zoller. “The goal is to work with the highly motivated CLOOS team to gain further market share in the USA and Mexico and to exceed customers’ expectations.” The welding engineer and MBA has extensive know-how in the areas of welding and automation technology as well as many years of management experience in the areas of technology, project management and sales. Most recently, he held various managerial positions at the welding equipment manufacturer ESAB.
