Leeco Steel Expands Canadian Processing Capabilities

Leeco Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, announces the addition of a Messer MPC2000 MC combination cutting and drilling machine at the company’s Hamilton, ON distribution center.

This machine, which is capable of plasma cutting, oxy fuel cutting, beveling and drilling, will expand Leeco’s processing capabilities for Canadian customers. In addition to steel plate, Leeco can now supply Canadian customers with steel plate parts.

“Having a Messer combination machine at our Hamilton facility will enable us to better serve Canadian customers,” said Denton Nordhues, President & CEO of Leeco Steel. “We will continue investing in people, facilities and equipment across all distribution centers to create even greater value for our customers.”

Leeco recently expanded processing capabilities at its Oshkosh, WI distribution center. The company added a Lissmac deburring machine and Faro measuring arm, which will improve efficiency in delivering processed parts to customers in the north region.
