ExxonMobil selects new VP

The board of directors for Exxon Mobil Corporation has selected David S. Rosenthal as the new vice president and controller and Jeffery J. Woodbury as the vice president of investor relations and secretary. Both appointments will become effective on September 1, 2014.

Mr. Rosenthal is currently both the vice president of investor relations and secretary. He started working for the company in 1979 as a financial analyst. He worked his way through a variety of financial and management positions of increasing responsibility in both Exxon Chemical Americas and Exxon Company U.S.A. He became controller of ExxonMobil Production Company in 2002 and was assistant controller for Exxon Mobil Corporation for two years before being elected to his current position in 2008.

Mr. Woodbury is currently the vice present of safety, security, health and environment for Exxon Mobil Corporation. He joined the company in 1983 as a reservoir engineer in LA, California. He then went on to hold various technical, planning, operations and management positions with Exxon Company USA, Esso Australia and ExxonMobil Production Company. He was named executive vice president of ExxonMobil Development Company in 2009 and appointed to his current role in 2011.
