ExxonMobil announces retirement of Jeff Woodbury

Exxon Mobil Corporation said that Jeff Woodbury, VP of investor relations and secretary, has chosen to retire after 35 years of service. The board of directors has elected Neil Hansen, downstream controller, as VP of investor relations and secretary.
Woodbury joined Exxon Company USA in 1983 and has held various managerial positions, including engineering, production, operations and development. He became production manager for the Eastern U.S. and Gulf of Mexico in 1998. In 2001, he was appointed president of ExxonMobil Canada and in 2003, moved to Moscow, where he was president for ExxonMobil Russia. In 2005, Woodbury became vice president for engineering in ExxonMobil Production Company and in 2007, VP for LNG Infrastructure in ExxonMobil Development Company. He was elected to his current role in 2014.
Hansen joined ExxonMobil in 2000 as a financial specialist in the upstream controllers organization supporting ExxonMobil Exploration Company in Houston. He held financial and accounting positions supporting ExxonMobil Production Company in Houston prior to becoming manager of financial reporting at the Sakhalin-1 project in Russia. He became audit division manager in 2008 in Houston and moved to Irving as senior financial advisor in 2009 and became investor relations advisor in 2010.
In 2012, Hansen was appointed manager of planning and financial markets in the treasurers department, and became affiliate finance manager in 2013. The following year he moved to Thailand where he took on the roles of lead country manager and manager of business services. He was appointed to his current position in 2017.
